30 Years of Soundwaves
Soundwaves aired for 25 years from March 30, 1983 to October 1, 2008 and produced 500 episodes. The holiday-based fundraiser Soundwaves Christmas has aired annually since December 18, 1989 on various stations throughout Northern California.
A new program targeted for distribution in 2014 called Soundwaves TV, is in active development. Dubbed a "celebration of the music video generation," the show will reunite previous cast members Dennis Willis, Steven Kirk, Joe McCaffrey and Suzanne St. John with newcomer Leilani Hanaike.
